1. Seoul Light Gwanghwamun

At the heart of the festival lies Gwanghwamun Plaza, where media art meets history. This world-class event features spectacular light sculptures and a media facade that beautifully reflects the historical and symbolic significance of Gwanghwamun Gate. Visitors can also join the New Year countdown event here, welcoming 2026 amid a glowing atmosphere.
2. Gwanghwamun Market - Santa Village

Step into a warm Christmas fairytale at Santa Village, located within Gwanghwamun Plaza. This charming market offers seasonal food, unique gifts, and festive photo zones, perfect for creating lasting holiday memories.
3. Seoul Lantern Festival

6. New Year’s Eve Bell-Ringing Ceremony at Bosingak

Culture note: During the Joseon Dynasty, the Bosingak Bell was used to mark the time and signal the closing of Seoul’s city gates. Today, it is rung to bid farewell to the old year and welcome the new one.
