1. DDP (Dongdaemun Design Plaza): The Modern Choice ⚡

This is where the magic happens! DDP is famous for its "Seoul Light" media facade show.

The Main Event: A massive media facade show and fireworks from 23:55 to 00:02.

Warm-up: Catch the "Seoul Light" art screenings every 30 minutes from 18:00 to 22:00, followed by a performance by the band Solutions at 23:25.

Crowd Level: Extremely crowded—public transport is a must!

2. Bosingak Pavilion: The Tradition 🔔

For a classic Korean experience, head to Bosingak for the traditional bell-ringing ceremony.

Timing: The ceremony runs from 23:15 to 00:30.

Sinchon: Perfect for students! A performance-centered countdown from 22:00 to 00:30.

Ditch the Car: Traffic will be blocked in many areas. Use the subway! For DDP, use Exit 1 for the plaza or Exit 2 for the Design Lab.

DDP Parking: If you must drive, DDP has underground parking. If full, try the Dongdaemun Public Parking lot. Keep your receipts for a discount at the B2 settlement office!

Heading Home: Check your route in advance as crowds will be intense after midnight.

Traveling with Kids? The most realistic plan is to enjoy the shows between 18:00 and 21:00 and head home before the midnight madness starts.
